About the event

This event is organised by Siddhartha's Intent Nordic Group Dear friends from the Nordics and beyond,

Our next regular Nordic session (Monday October 5th) falls on Dakini Day and we are immensely happy to announce that on this auspicious day instructor Arne Schelling will join us for an interesting talk and Q&A session on Facing Serious Illness from a Buddhist Perspective.

We all encounter illness in our lives, whether directly or indirectly. Often we ask ourselves:

Why is this happening to me? What meaning can be found in this experience? And how

can this crisis be navigated in a way that fosters personal growth and spiritual

development?

Arne will deliver a short introductory talk on Buddhist perspectives on serious health

crises, exploring how traditional teachings understand illness not as meaningless suffering

but as an opportunity for transformation, deepening compassion, and spiritual awakening.

For the main part of the event there will be an open Q&A session where participants can

ask questions.

The Zoom room remains our habitual one, and as always, our sessions are open to anyone who feels connected to or inspired by the teachings of Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche.
